Fundy National Park
This beautiful natural resource is 10 minutes from the Bayview and features tidal pools and hiking trails to explore, swimming at the salt-water pool or at Bennett Lake and a host of guided interpretive programs. Bring your bug spray and plan to enjoy the evening entertainment at the outdoor amphitheater. The park offers a beautiful 9-hole golf course for those who love a challenge.
The Village of Alma
From the Bayview you can stroll into the village and investigate Alma’s unique shops and restaurants. The village has a rich history, which most residents are eager to share with you. Seafood chowder is a specialty in this area and any one of Alma’s restaurants will serve up their special recipe. Spend some time on the docks and watch the lobster boats unload their catch, or purchase some of the bakery's famous sticky buns and take them down to the beach to watch the tides. The fastest tides in the world create an ever-changing seascape.
Waterside and Cape Enrage
A drive along Route 915 will take you to Waterside Beach. At low tide you will find an expanse of white sand framed by red rock bluffs and blue sky. Don’t miss the winery and gift store, which are both local attractions.
Whether you are a hard-core adventurer or simply enjoying the sights, you will want to stop at Cape Enrage. This historically significant site boasts excellent views as well as a modern day adventure program.

Hopewell Rocks Park
The world famous “Flowerpots” are 30 minutes away. Plan to visit at low tide so you can explore the ocean floor. There is a playground, restaurant, gift shop and interpretive trails in the park above the beach.
Kayaking
Kayaking adventures for all levels are hosted by Fresh Air Adventures and leave from the Bridge in Alma. Whether you want a 3 hour tour or a 3 day trek, this is an adventure not to be missed.

City Life
Historically significant St. John is about 1 ½ hours away. Don’t miss Reversing Falls—you might see the otters playing in the Bay! Moncton is about 1 hour away and offers the mystery of Magnetic Hill, shopping for everyone and a host of other attractions.
Confederation Bridge
Topping the Bridge on a clear day to see the red beaches and pastoral views of Prince Edward Island spread out before you is a site to be remembered. The bridge is approximately 2 hours away and offers an easy day trip to Summerside or Charlottetown.
