Good Things To Know

Bayview Season and Hours of Operation

The Bayview Motel & Chalets are open from the May 24th weekend through Sept 15. The office is open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily.

Non Smoking

Please respect our Smoke Free policy. A significant room recovery fee will be levied for guests found to be smoking in the Motel, Chalets or Campers Lounge.

Pets

Your pets are part of your family and we welcome them at the Bayview. Please keep your pet on a leash when you are outdoors and clean up after him/her.

Be aware that some of our guests may not love your pet as much as you do! Small children are often afraid of dogs. Reassuring them that your pet will not hurt them is not helpful to someone who is genuinely afraid; please remove your pet promptly from the child’s sight.

For Chalet & Motel guests, we ask that pets be kept off the furniture and not left unattended. Old towels are available at the office to wipe off our famous red mud after a romp on the beach. We reserve the right to levy an extra charge of $50.00 if additional housekeeping or maintenance tasks are incurred.

Visitors

The security and safety of our guests is our first priority. Parking at each chalet is restricted to 2 vehicles belonging to registered guests. Visitors to the chalets must check-in at the office before proceeding to the chalets. Visitors may not take their vehicles up to the chalets.

Wireless Internet

You will need a code to connect. Please ask at the office when you arrive. We do not have a technical person on site: however we do offer a hard connection in the campers lounge if the wireless fails.

Cell Phones

Don’t forget you are here to relax! Coverage seems to depend on your provider and where you are standing…you are always welcome to use the phone in the office for brief calls.

Fire Wood

The Bayview provides deadfall and selected cut firewood for your use during your stay and requests that you respect our policy of sustainable burning by sharing the campfire experience with other guests and campers. Campfires ARE NOT PERMITTED near the chalets. Anyone seen removing firewood from the premises will be charged for it.

The Bay Of Fundy

The tides in the Bay of Fundy are among the highest in the world and are truly awe-inspiring. Enjoy your time in this area more by checking the daily tide tables in the office before you set out for the beach.

Village Amenities

The village offers a variety of restaurants and shops where you can purchase basic groceries, souvenirs, alcohol, ice, gas and propane.

Fresh Lobster can be purchased seasonally—the office staff will be pleased to direct you.

A Laundromat is available in the village.
