The Bayview is committed to reducing environmental impact through responsible management. While we may not save the world with our practices we like to think that in our own small way, we are making a difference in the lives of our children and grandchildren, without affecting the comfort of our guests.

Our goals:

• the ongoing restoration of the natural landscape to areas impacted by development
• consistent and diligent progress toward reducing our environmental footprint through the following measures:
  • control of weeds and pests by natural means
  • use of biodegradable and natural cleaning products
  • replacement of incandescent bulbs with energy efficient lighting
  • use of ceiling fans instead of air-conditioning
  • recycling & reuse of products & materials

We invite our guests to assist us with our goals:

• Use a travel mug for coffee instead of styrofoam cups
• Advise our Housekeeping staff if you do not require a daily change of linen
• Turn the heat down when you are out for the day.
• Sort your recycle materials into the bins provided
• Offer other suggestions to the management or staff.
